Brand Focus: The Best of Maybelline

Welcome to the best of Maybelline : Tried and tested by myself so that next time you're in a bit of a spendy mood? You can get more bang for your buck.. so to speak.
Swiftly moving on...
Eraser Eye Concealer:Well thank god this happened to the world of drugstore concealers. It took only two uses of this for me to fall head over heels in love with it and I literally don't go a day without wearing it. It's perfect for under the eye as it's super brightening and doesn't crease throughout the day, but also gives enough coverage and staying power to cover those stubborn blemishes. The round spongey applicator also feels pretty darn good around my extensive eye bags too. I'm sold.
Colour Tattoo : So these Gel-come-Cream eyeshadows are the perfect answer to that 'I've totally bothered' eye look without having to totally bother. My personal faves are 'On and On Bronze' and that old beaut 'Pink Gold' which you may have seen popping up in these ends over the last month or so. They've got serious staying power and are so easy to work with.. two things which can make me fall head over heels for a product. They're a little shimmery without being too intense for daytime wear and basically tick all of the boxes I want ticking.
Super Stay Gel Nail Colour : The only drugstore nail varnish that actually stays on my nails past a day, with a variety of beautiful shades and at an affordable price. Oh, and the nail brush it just the most perfect shape. Nothin' not to love here guys.
Baby Lips: This handy little lip balm is probably my most reached for lip balm and when it comes to lip balm I can be more than a little bit fickle. How many times can I say lip balm in one paragraph? It's got a hint of colour which is great and feels totally nourishing on the lips.. and it's handbag handy!
Super Stay Lipstick: I'm gonna blow your minds now but these lip sticks are ones that got me into the realms of lipstick obsession and although my bank balance wouldn't agree, I couldn't be more grateful about that. They remind me of last summer, working with friends and returning from my lunch break having picked up ANOTHER three in the Boots deals. (This may have also happened with the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks but that's not what this post is about) The formula is long lasting, they smell fruity to a divine level and the shades are just on point. They're non drying, eye catching and GAHIneedtogoandputthemallonrightnow.
Lash Sensational: Benefit's Roller Lash rival at a drugstore price.. Yeah.. I was sold too. I'd say this has probably given me my favourite mascara experiences of late and I find that the shape of the wand really does help me get fully involved with what little lashes I actually have. I love the formula as it's not 'clumpy' but still gives volume and length and basically I think the packaging is pretty too soo..
Colour Drama Velvet Lip Pencil: Okay so in terms of formula I would put these at the same level.. if not maybe ABOVE the Nars velvet lip pencils. Serious. Then of course when you add in the affordability of them it becomes kind of maybe definitely necessary to own every single shade. If you're in the market for a couple of shades I'd strongly suggest 'Nude Perfection' (does what it says on the tin) and 'Light It Up'.. the most DIVINE red you ever did see. You may have seen me wearing it here but just in case you didn't.. it's one of those slightly orange toned reds and the formula is so light and easy to wear, you can rock it all day without the worry of drying out your kissables!

What's your favourite Maybelline product?
Did you like this style of post?
I'm thinking about doing some more with other brands so let me know if and what you'd like to see next!
