In The Streets With A Heater Under My Dungarees

Hey Guys! So this is just a quick post, but I wanted to show you these dungarees that I got for an absolute STEAL from the Asos sale. They're such a lightweight jersey material and they are just so utterly comfortable! I'll be honest.... When I first put them on.. I felt a lot like a clown. Like.. a LOT. However, as soon as I realised how 'pajamaey' comfy they were ( Rockin' a new word. Say Somethin') I basically fell in love with them. Because who doesn't like to feel like they're wearing pajamas but still be allowed to walk outside! (& Go to the new Turtle Bay that opened in Birmingham) Exxxxxxxaccccctly.
Anyway, without futher ado...
Asos Dungarees, Boohoo Crop, Topshop Boots

Are you ready to know how much they were yet?
I don't think you're ready.
Let's move on for a bit.. shall we?
So I've got back onto the old Lookbook hype after years away from it.. which you can see just over there to your right, if you fancy checking it out, just click it! (Go on.. know you wanna)
And If you're not already, you should totally be following me on twitter.. I can't promise to tweet anything remotely interesting, but i do love a good chat!

Okay I think you're ready now.

£8.

I KNOW.

Angel Food Bakery: Brighton

A couple of weeks ago, my lovely boyfriend took me to my absolute favourite place ever (Brighton) for a few days away as a late Birthday present and I had the best time ever! I have so much to share with you from our little trip - including a 'Brighton Haul' Video! ( Which will be my first ever youtube video.. SCARY). Anyway. I've been putting off doing posts for ages because I tend to get quite caught up in the visual element of my blog.. Are the photo's right? Will they make the post look stupid? Or even - God Forbid... Can I post without adding any photo's? Of Course Not! And so here we are... weeks down the line and I've been abandoning you all. How Rude. I apologise. (It doesn't help that since my return from Brighton, I've only had one day off in 11 days!) But anyway, excuses aside, I wanted to tell you about the best place we went to for cake - and believe me, we had our fair (&totally unfair) share of cake so I know what I'm talking about!
I bring to you: The Angel Food Bakery

My boyfriend had the 'Cookies & Cream' cupcake and a cup of English Breakfast. I was assured that it was delightful, but I don't believe for a second that it was a good as mine...
I went for the 'Strawberries & Cream' cupcake and a refreshing apple juice. To my surprise, I was greeted with the yummiest strawberry syrup in the middle which was just what the doctor ordered!
They had so many varieties of cupcake I just wished I could have eaten them all!

Have any of you guys been to the angel food bakery?
Which cupcake do you think you would have liked more?

Say Hi!, Lets have a chat

Style Trial: Suit Up!

So I totally cannot take credit for finding this Cobalt BEAUTY. One of my most hilarious friends from work was telling me about a recent shopping spree she'd been on - to non other than.. wait for it.... Matalan.. Yes you heard me right. Anyway, so she bought this beautiful suit for less than £50. CAN'T ARGUE WITH THAT. So basically I totally copied her and went to buy it myself. (Literally on the same day that she told me about it)
Definitely a good decision.. right?
I mean... I'll probably never have to wear a suit in my life.... I don't really have that kind of lifestyle. No-body really turns up to take photo's or set up an art exhibition in a suit.. but nontheless, I wanted it, I bought it, and now it is mine... And I couldn't be happier!
I thought I'd find it quite hard to style.. as I've been on the hunt for 'the perfect white shirt' for probably a year now and I'm yet to find it... So.. what do I wear it with?!
Turns out that'll be a 'not completely perfect but still quite nice white shirt'
I also chucked on a pair of New Look heels and tried not to neglect my jewellery.. (I'd noticed it was becoming a bit of a theme within these outfit posts of mine)
So I'm a suit convert.
Who would have thought it.
Matalan Blazer & Angle Grazers, Topshop Shirt & Bracelets, New Look Shoes, Camden Market Cameo Ring, Amethist Ring Gift, Independent Jewellery Shop Nottingham Bird Ring.

Are you a suit convert too?
What have you guys been spending all your dollar on recently? Common.. Tell me it's not just me that's an unstoppable spender!

I Only Went And Bought Another Coat

Firstly I'd like to apologise for my absence in the last few weeks. There's been a lot going on and I simply haven't had time to blog, or take photo's, or do anything that's particularly interesting or fun.
Having said that, I did manage to grab a couple of spare hours on Saturday last week and put them to excellent use!
As many of you who live in Birmingham & are into spending money you don't have, I went to the Vintage Kilo sale in the Custard Factory. It was a mere £1 entry and there were so many amazing clothes! ( and jewellery... and CAKE. mustn't forget the cake) When you arrive, you can pick up as many purple carrier bags as you like, and you fill them up as you go around. Once you've finished, you take them over to the weighing desk and pay £15 per kilo - which, if you're not very good with kilos.. (like me) results in a pretty bangin' deal.
If I'm honest, there was a lot of things I could have bought for such a small price, but lately I've been getting pretty stressed at my constant floordrobe because I've literally ran out of room to put my clothes anywhere other than the floor.
And so, I left with only one item of clothing, but it was a BEAUTY. I think so anyway. It cost me £22.50, and I honestly couldn't be more pleased with my purchase! I also bought a lovely ring for £6 and two slices of the loveliest Lemon Cake I've had in a while! ( I must add that I didn't eat both slices... although I easily could have. I bought one for my mom too )

Topshop Jeans & Necklace, H&M Top, Vintage Coat, Nike Air Max Trainers

Oh - And I forgot to mention, I dyed my hair and consequently, Cool Ash Toner is my new bffl.
What have you all been upto in the past few weeks?
Did any of you guys go to the Vintage Kilo Sale?
